The irony and provocation in the identity of the International Theater Art Forum TEART

TEART is the International Theater Art Forum that gathers innovatory theatrical performances from around the world. It is held in Belarus for the eighth time. The purpose of the forum is to free the theater from the “antique snares”, to bring the audience out of the emotional and cultural vacuum.

Task

Development of creative visual style for the annual international theater art forum "TEART 2018" (Minsk, Belarus).

Solution

Idea:

GENERAL DEPRESSURIZATION! We have a sincere desire to change attitude towards the theater, to shake the audience up. Get to a new level of self-irony and, therefore, development.

Visualization:

A free, emotional style with “space” collage illustration is harmonious with the nature of the forum. We visually highlight this event in the information space of the city, speak ironic about the antique clichés, provoke the patriarchal public. The whole identity is destined to attract people who are interested in a living, modern theater.
